Hey there, I'm Kyle Cash.

Front-End Developer

Mobile Specialist

Self-Taught

Kyle's Profile
I'm a 31-year-old self-taught developer from the USA. I am a front-end developer, but I specialize in creating mobile applications that are smooth and responsive.

I've faced many challenges during my learning, but I've worked hard to overcome them, and find a solution that meets the projects needs.
These challenges have helped shape me into the developer I am today; one that is relentless in solving the challenges in front of me, but a developer that is teachable and a quick-learner.

Skills and Technologies

Through my learning, I've continued to develop my knowledge of a variety of web development and mobile technologies. I've taken these technologies and applied them to a variety of projects I've worked on in my free time.
React/React Native
HTML & CSS
JavaScript
React Navigation
React Redux
Firebase
Tailwind CSS

What I'm Working On

My mind doesn't like to sit still. Every minute, it feels like I'm thinking a thousand thoughts. Some of these are worthwhile, many don't deserve mentioning. However, I've derived many new ideas for projects as a result of my busy mind.

So, here are a few of the projects that have come from this crazy thing I call my brain.
Pixtagram
Project Screenshot
An Instagram clone aimed at learning new technologies such as Firebase (Auth/Firestore), working with APIs, React Navigation, and more. This project helped me learn how to incorporate reusable components and how to share information between them.
Music Player
Project Screenshot
A music player app combining features from top music players (iTunes, YouTube Music, Spotify). This project was an experiment with using Firebase, React Navigation, Redux, as well as familiarizing myself with the Animate library and its functions.

UltraCook
Project Screenshot
An app that helps users find recipes based on the ingredients they have available to them. The can add items to their pantry and recipes are suggested to them. This app utilizes Redux, React Navigation, and a Recipe API to suggest different recipes.

Break Time
Project Screenshot
This app helps users to focus on tasks, while taking needed breaks at certain intervals. The app uses Redux to help store and share the activities across the app. In addition, it gave me the opportunity to incorporate push notifications to alert users.

Let's work together

I'm always willing to learn and collaborate with anyone interested. So, if you're looking for a developer, want to ask me a question, or just want to say hi; reach out to me.
